Selena Gomez gushed about her boyfriend Benny Blanco’s unconditional love, after he was featured in People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue.
The Emilia Pérez actress, 32, took to her Instagram Stories to repost one of the photos from the magazine, which saw the Grammy-nominated producer, 36, laying on a table with pizza in front of him.
‘Not only do you love me unconditionally, you always get me my Taco Bell Mexican pizza,’ Selena wrote underneath the snap.
Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend also tagged Benny in her second post, where she shared a quote from William C. Hannan that read: ‘I still haven’t figured out how to sit across from you, and not be madly in love with everything you do.’
Blanco discussed his secrets to success in life and love, and dished on his romantic mornings with the actress in the People article, which sparked an internet frenzy.
He also showed off his style in an accompanying photoshoot, where he rocked a number of groovy silk ensembles and displayed his red pedicure.
Blanco will be included among a number of hunks in People’s upcoming issue. This year’s Sexiest Man Alive cover star — chosen based on their physical attractiveness, charisma, and cultural impact — will be announced on November 12.
After it was revealed that he would be part of the issue, fans had a mixed response. Some applauded the decision, writing, ‘YES! He’s redefining “sexy” with that humor and style!’
‘Can’t argue with that choice! He’s got the talent and the charm to match,’ another fan wrote.
‘And people still wonder why Selena chose him. He seems like a great guy,’ another noted. ‘He’s so Charming. We get it Selena.’

However, not everyone agreed with the decision – though many seemed to think Blanco was actually the cover star, and not just featured in the issue.

Benny couldn’t help but gush about his relationship with Selena during his interview for the magazine.
He sweetly admitted that waking up next to his rumored fiancée, who he has been fueling engagement rumors with for months, is the highlight of his day.
‘I’m a real morning person. It’s my favorite time to spend with Sel, because we both wake up really early. It’s like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up,’ he told People.
He went on to describe the Calm Down hitmaker as his ‘true best friend’ that he gets to ‘do everything in the world with.’
‘Every day is the best day of my life,’ he raved while reflecting on his romance with Gomez, who he began dating in mid-2023.
When it comes to relationships, Blanco insisted that there should be ‘no games.’
‘I [still] go all out for every date. It doesn’t mean spending your entire bank account. It means being attentive and listening,’ he explained.
This includes making Gomez her favorite foods from scratch, like deep-fried pickles, and homemade Taco Bell.
Despite achieving incredible success in the music industry, the songwriter, who has worked with Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and Kanye West, finds pleasure in the ‘simple’ things.
He proceeded to share his secret for the perfect first date, which he advised should leave your partner calling their friends to tell them: ‘Oh my God… this was the craziest thing.’
‘It’s got to be something insane because you want to leave an impression. The person’s going to be going out on a bunch of first dates, and you got to secure your spot,’ he said.
Blanco said he tries to create moments in time ‘because everyone’s f**king busy.’
‘Everyone has so much work to do, everyone’s so stressed. If we can just sit back and forget everything for an hour to four hours — if it’s a good date, five — then things are good,’ he noted. ‘Don’t you leave a date sometimes and you’re like, “Oh my God, what the hell? Time flew!”‘
Blanco also revealed Gomez is also a romantic.
‘We go all out for each other. One time Sel was like, “Oh, I want to take you on a date.” We drove somewhere and she had rented out a whole botanical garden for me,’ he recalled.
The first time they had to deal with long distance, Blanco revealed she made him a bear that said, ‘I miss you so much. You’re going to be okay. I’ll see you when I get back,’ when he pressed its hand.
‘She’s very good at gifting. She does the same thing as me: Most of our gifts, we make them for each other,’ he noted.
Additionally, he said Gomez likes ‘simple’ dates, like grabbing fast food together or when he brings her ‘candies and Hot Cheetos.’

When it comes to gift giving, the record producer said he doesn’t like to ‘buy a gift that everyone else is going to buy.’
