- Jennifer Turpin, who escaped her family’s “House of Horrors” in 2018, married husband Aron in a gothic wedding ceremony on Oct. 27 at The Miller Gardens in California.
- Turpin, who is the eldest of her 12 siblings, wore a black and white wedding dress from David’s Bridal and carried a matching black and white floral bouquet.
- The couple’s ceremony featured spooky details, including skeleton decorations, a coffin ring box and a fog machine.
The eldest child of the Turpin family has tied the knot.
Jennifer Turpin married husband Aron (she has kept his last name private) on Oct. 27 at The Miller Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., she revealed in an Instagram reel posted on Nov. 9. “10/27/2024 Wedding Day 🥰🖤💍,” she captioned a video of her big day.
The couple’s Gothic outdoor ceremony was attended by her siblings. Turpin confirmed that she invited her 12 brothers and sisters in a response to an Instagram comment asking if they were in attendance. “We did. I just can’t post most out of respect/privacy ❤,” she replied.
The guest book table was draped in red rose petals and adorned with a skull next to a sculpture of Thing, the hand from The Addams Family, and a bronze statue of a skeleton bride and groom embracing.
Glow sticks illuminated another skeleton chilling in the drink cooler and a cauldron full of candy. Black tables were decked out with confetti and goodie bags with jack-o’-lantern designs on them.
Turpin walked down the aisle holding a bouquet of black and white flowers as a smoke machine made for a foggy, dramatic entrance. She wore a wedding dress covered in black lace, and paired the sweetheart-neckline-styled gown with black lace-up ankle boots that had bow and lace detailing, and were accessorized by dangling pearl charms.
For glam, Turpin opted for a smokey eye and black lipstick. Her nails were a black ombre. A black-and-white flower crown sat atop her curled short hair. For his part, the groom wore a black tuxedo with a chain detail.
After their union, the newlyweds took photos against spooky backdrops, which included a nighttime graveyard and haunted mansion. Turpin revealed in an August Instagram post that Aron asked her to be his girlfriend on Aug. 6, 2022, and proposed exactly one year later on Aug. 6, 2023.
In her dressing room ahead of the wedding, Turpin appeared to get emotional when she was supported by her sisters, which included Jordan Turpin — who was the one to escape their family home in early 2018, exposing the horrors that were occurring behind closed doors.

A then-17-year-old Jordan crawled out the window of their California home on Jan. 18, 2018, and called 911 to report unfathomable abuse her parents David and Louise Turpin inflicted on their 13 children, who ranged from 2 to 29 at the time of their rescue.
David and Louise Turpin were eventually convicted on 14 felony counts including cruelty to an adult dependent, child cruelty, torture and false imprisonment, and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
In a July 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Jordan said that the Turpin siblings remain close.
“We all look out for each other. We all have this super big bond. We have our inside jokes, and we’re all very, very close,” she said. “After everything that happened, I’m so protective over each one. Nothing could ever break our bond. I always try and stay strong and positive for them.”
Despite a nightmare childhood, Jennifer has found her happy ending. In addition to recently getting married, she is now an independent author, a motivational speaker, singer-songwriter, CEO of DAWN’s Designs Co., phlebotomist and Esoes BadAssador, according to her Instagram bio.
Earlier this month, she and her new husband celebrated their marriage with a honeymoon in Hawaii, where they got tattoos, caught up with family and enjoyed the beach.
